Rev. Jefferson humbly began his God-ordained purpose as a minister at 15 years old. Even at 15, he boldly proclaimed the truth of God’s word in both song and speech. Ordained in 1999, Rev. Jefferson’s obedience to God’s purpose opened many doors in many places. God has given him a charge to teach the Kingdom of God, Kingdom Family, and Kingdom Citizens.
Continually serving God, Rev Jefferson now preaches on many aspects of the family according to God’s word. He teaches the roles, responsibilities, and duties of all family members for families to be a true reflection of what God has created them to be. He shares his personal, heartfelt testimony of how God has given him the strength to stand through the strongest of storms. His genuine jovial nature and giving spirit can be felt by anyone he meets.
Through years of ministering, he has found that each family has their own dynamic, but all families belong to God. God has given him a heart to build and restore families through ministry and service. Rev Jefferson started a non-profit, “The Love for God’s People,” to provide elements of family restoration through financial literacy, mental health counseling, and family and community advocacy. He believes communities are made up of families and when families are strong, communities are strong.
Rev Jefferson is a native of Hattiesburg, Mississippi where his love of fishing and family began. He is the son of Pastor Jettie Jefferson, Sr, and Elizabeth Jefferson. He has been a resident of Texas for the past 16 years where he is continually a humble servant of God. Although his residence has changed, his heart for family wholeness continues through ministry and community outreach.
